As of 2015, Barack Obama has been sighted attending St. John's Church, Vermont Avenue Baptist, Metropolitan AME, Allen Chapel AME, Shiloh Baptist, Vermont Avenue Baptist and Zion Baptist. He appears to have no particular home church.
President Obama and his family have attended a number of churches throughout the D.C. area but have not settled on one particular place to regularly attend. They generally go to church on major Christian holidays, with sporadic attendance throughout the rest of the year. St. John's Church, the so-called "Church of Presidents," reserves a pew for the first family should they attend. Barack Obama was a member of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ until 2008.
