Baking chicken legs simply requires preheating the oven to between 300 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit, placing the chicken in a roasting pan and cooking uncovered for 35 to 75 minutes, depending on the oven temperature. Add 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons of dry mustard, 2 teaspoons of chili powder and 1/2 cup of water, whisking until mixed well. Place chicken legs in a baking pan, pour the barbecue sauce over and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
