The Bible provides many descriptions of angel images. Some angels resemble humans, while others resemble other creatures. Daniel 10:6 gives a very vivid description of an angelic creature with a face like lightening and limbs like burnished bronze.
The Bible describes seraphim angels as mighty beings with six wings, two of them covering their faces so that they cannot look upon God's holy face. They also have two wings that cover their feet because they walk on God's holy ground.
In other passages, such as Genesis 18, the Bible describes angels as having human features. Moses mistook two angels who visited him as two ordinary travelers because of their resemblance to human beings.
