Access your AOL account on a regular Internet browser as opposed to a mobile device or application. AOL mail is easy to access from the AOL home page. From your mail account, you can also change your settings and AOL mail password.

Open your browser
First, open your Internet web browser. This can be either Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome or AOL if you’ve paid for the AOL web browser service.

Navigate to AOL
In your web address bar, type in www.aol.com and select search or press enter. This will take you to the AOL website.

Log in to your account
Select the “Welcome, Sign in” button at the top right of your screen. Then enter in your AOL user name or AOL email address and your password and then select “Sign In.”

Open your mail
Finally, select the mail icon. You will be taken to your email inbox.
