I usually grow my own fava beans but this summers crop was a bust. These were fantastic! 6 cups of dried beans yielded 11 cups of soaked & peeled beans. I then cook them down with added water which yields over 6 qts of puree. I use this puree to make a "green sauce" with sauted garlic and olive oil over fresh pasta and grated cheese.
