Hi all. I have a digital smart meter from Toronto Hydro. Normally, the display flashes between "88888" and the number of KWh used. Today, it started flashing "8r" plus 4 numbers (not posted until I know its not an account number or something). My experience of Smart meters is BG ringing up saying they ‘have a man in the area’ and would I be interested. Yea I said,so they came and changed both electric and gas meters to smart meters. Great I thought, no more crawling around in the under-stair cupboard trying to take readings because the monitor could take them instead.
