Check it out bro, Marine Force Recon was officially retired from service just over a year ago. Now it is Marine Special Operations. Along with the new name, we are also a part of the same command now as the Navy Seals. They however are still Navy ran and we are Marine ran or commanded for the most part. Are US Marine Force Recon a waterdown version of Navy Seals? I heard from my brother mentioned that a trained Recon have an option to join BUD program, which I presume to be a school for the Seals. On the other hand, a Seal doesn't require to go to whatever school the Recon go.
