The original iPod had the game Brick (originally invented by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak) included as an easter egg hidden feature; later firmware versions added it as a menu option.
These games are compatible with the iPod nano (3rd and 4th generation), iPod classic, and iPod (5th generation) only. They cannot be played on your computer, nor are they compatible with other iPod models including the iPhone and the iPod touch. Please check which iPod model you have.
Don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch? As long as you have a "click wheel" model iPod, you can still play games from the iTunes Store. Unfortunately your selection is dramatically reduced compared to the App Store, but there are still some good games available like Bejeweled, Sims Bowling and Texas Hold'em.

There were around 50 games for click wheel iPods in the iTunes Store, including classics like Vortex and Klondike, or other titles like Song Summoner by Square Enix. Click wheel games were compatible with the iPod classic, as well as older versions of the iPod, iPod nano and iPod mini.
