I am four weeks pregnant today and wanted to add my symptoms. I have been reading your site for several months and the symptoms helped me to identify what was everyday occurences and what were potential signs. Thank you for this site. 4DPO - dip in temp from 98.5 to 98.2, likely estrogen surge from ovulation 7DPO - egg white mucous 8dpo - irritiable! unfortunately a bit normal

It is 1000 times more likely that a temp dip at 3-5 dpo is a secondary estrogen surge to keep the corpus luteum functioning rather than an implantation dip. I had plenty of temp dips 3-6 dpo on cycles that I was not pregnant.

I get fallback rises too and I read that they usually occur 2-3 dpo. So if you o'd a day earilier that would look like a fallback rise on 2nd dpo and a possible implantation dip at 5 dpo which I am not sure but I am guessing could possibly happen. I had a big dip on my chart on 4th dpo but my temps are screwy and look to be pretty erratic.

This month, I notice a dip at 4dpo way below my coverline until FF decided to take off my cross lines.. is it normal? I really wanted to have a baby. TIA. P. PrayingInTexas @Mrsjackson16. Helpful, trusted answers from doctors: Dr. Traub on can implantation happen 4 dpo: It certainly can and you make have some additional bleeding in a few days down the road. It might be a bit early to get a positive pregnancy though, so don't be frustrated if its negative at this time. In addition you might be off on your day of ovulation.

I had a temp dip at 4 dpo, too, and was hoping it could be implantation. But from what I've read a lot of women have temp dips on 3 dpo or 4 dpo because of what is called a secondary estrogen surge. The bean isn't big enough to implant yet. Sorry to disappoint - but you still have plenty of time for it to turn into a BFP. _____

UPDATE BFP !!! Implantation Dip? (BBT chart pic): Hey ladies, Needing some honest opinions because I can get carried away. Last cycle I got a false positive on a HPT which broke my heart so here I am again. On my chart I had a huge dip which isn't on my other 2 charts. My other 2 charts are pretty much identical and had a consistent high temp until AF.

I never bled at all but I do think a lot of women get implantation bleeding so fingers crossed for you.
