Is there any way to delay ovulation by a few days? I ovulated earlier this cycle than usual by several days and before this happened I was thinking we would be able to start trying next cycle because it would be close enough to December 1.

I have been reading around a little, and it seems that it can delay ovulation by up to a couple of days IF you are taking ibuprofen or NSAID around the time of ovulation. I didn't read anything that concluded it could stop you ovulating entirely. Also, the delay doesn't happen in every woman who takes an NSAID around ovulation.
