If you don't have cats or dogs loose you could use #110 conibear traps. That would be far more humane than poison. If you do have cats and dogs in the area I wouldn't because the conibears could easily kill someone's cat or small dog. Set the trap in a tunnel where the rabbit would go to hide. You could compost the rabbits.
