If you think your guppy might be pregnant, look for a bulge in the fish's stomach that continues to grow over time. As the bulge grows, watch the spot near the back of the fish's belly, near the tail, which is known as the gravid spot. Over time, it will become orange or black, and your guppy's stomach may look like it's expanding and contracting.
