'The House of the Scorpion' is the first book by Nancy Farmer I have read; the book was on offer as a Kindle Daily Deal and the synopsis intrigued me so I thought it was worth taking a chance. I enjoyed the book and I will buy the sequel- Lord of Opium (House of the Scorpion) regardless of whether it is on offer!
Does the electronic version of the book completely replace the paper version? Of course not. Best of all, if after reading an e-book, you buy a paper version of The House of the Scorpion. Read the book on paper - it is quite a powerful experience.
