If using printer-friendly fabric, get yours from a craft store and decide what photo you want to print. Steady the fabric by ironing one side to freezer paper (for the trip through the printer) and press the shiny side of the freezer paper to the fabric and then iron the fabric side.

I like the feel of the photo printed fabric when I make my own sheets of fabric transfer paper using freezer paper - it has a softer hand. Printed Treasures and EQ have about about the same results. I used all three in my "Jan's Garden" quilt - which was machine quilted. The quilt itself has not been washed.

Step 2: Trim up the fabric and Freezer paper to exactly 8 1/2″ by 11″. I use a piece of printer cardstock as a pattern, to make sure the size is exact. You could measure it out and draw lines on it instead. Important: Make sure you don’t have any frayed edges, and that the fabric does not overhang the paper!
