This is one tired, old, and soon to be lonely truck. Its a 06 4300 DT466 International. It had poor oil pressure when I got it, and since the maintenance records were incomplete I had a hissy fit til they had enough and did a PM.


I have a 1999 international 4700. DT466. No oil pressure at all. Removed the oil pressure sensor, nothing. I pulled the oil filter housing to check the pressure regulator, looks ok, not stuck open. Pulled the pump, looks ok visually. Pulled the front timing cover and replaced the oil relief valve even though it looked ok.


Best way to start is to connect with DLCI part of MD or servicemaxx and crank it and see if you show oil pressure. The sender should be on the driver side middle of the block. I assume this is a DT466e so if it does have no oil pressure then the injectors can't fire since the work off oil pressure. Hope this helps
