i was going to try this recipe until i ran into the bisquick garlic and cheese mix at the grocery store. so i baked that instead by adding water and i sprinkled the cheddar cheese, i basically followed the second half of the recipe and they were i complete success.
I used a 7up biscuit recipe, 1 cup 7 up, three cups Bisquick and 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder and 1/4 teaspoon Parsley in the mix. Melt 2 tbs butter 1/4 t garlic and 1/2 t of Parsley brush over tops . Makes a very tender and soft biscuit

These biscuits are very similar to Red Lobster or Elmer’s (which we LOVE!). We love Bisquick mix in our house, we use it for pancakes, waffles, peach cobbler and for the dumplings in chicken and dumpling soup.
In a large bowl, combine baking mix, Cheddar cheese, and garlic powder. Stir in milk. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Brush biscuits with melted margarine, and sprinkle with parsley and garlic salt. Bake for 5 more minutes, or until lightly browned on the bottom.
