Black History Month celebrates the courage of Black people to move out of bondage and persevere through hardships. Sharing love in strong family relationships continues to be an important element. Most important, faith in God has led to success. The following scriptures discuss each of these concepts.

As I have lived in a black community for many years and also started and pastored churches with significant numbers of black Christians, I have learned to have a deep appreciation for black people, their godly faith, and their diverse culture.
