Saffiano leather was originally made from the highest quality calf leather. The name Saffiano comes from the cross hatch print that was pressed into the wax that coated the leather.
The distinctive markings on this leather are a series of diagonal lines and cross-hatch designs that renders the leather very resistant to stains, scratches and is also water repellent.
