Bob, do you have a link for that serial number place? I must be dumb as a post cause I'll be darned if I can find it. I know the barrel codes but never heard of Remington's serial numbers telling manufacture dates. Barrel date codes are here at the Remington Society, along with a good diagram of how to read them.
