I think it would be less awful on your skin than acetone. I’m wearing gloves and sanitizing my gloves because it’s so much on my hands. Like I have layers of it peeling off my skin and I have to run back to wash it all off to start over lol.

I made it! It required some fine tuning though. I used 70% ethyl rubbing alcohol and 100% acetone I found at CVS pharmacy here in the states. I tried once following the instructions exactly with an 8 to 3 alcohol to acetone ratio but there were some parts of the toner that did not transfer.

I have found the "gunk" (AKA Thermal Pads) does not come off the core as good with 90% alcohol as it does with Acetone. you can pick this up at any walmart/home depot/true value etc type store in the paint section. The 90% is great for getting AS5 off and giving a nice sparkly shine after using Acetone.
