The Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and Ford Fusion are five of the best-selling cars in North America for 2015. As of October 2015, the Toyota Camry has posted 361,111 units sold, according to Good Car Bad Car. Year-to-date sales numbers for the rest of the five top sellers are as follows: Honda Accord, 294,935; Toyota Corolla, 306,693; Honda Civic, 277,538; Ford Fusion, 255,143. Other bestsellers include the Nissan Altima, Ford Focus, Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra.
With a comfortable 66,176-unit lead against the Honda Accord through the first 10 months of 2015, the Toyota Camry is practically assured of its position as America's top-selling car for 2015, and chances are slim of it being unseated from its throne by year's end. A traditional rivalry exists between the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, but the Camry has been able to ensconce itself at the number-one spot since 2002.
The Toyota Camry however, is not America's number-one vehicle overall. That prestige goes to the Ford F-Series pickup truck, which has been America's best-selling vehicle for more than 30 years.
For the year-to-date figures, the Ford F-Series pickup has posted 629,951 units sold, as stated by Automotive Content Experience. The number is 137,400 units more than the F-Series closest competitor the Chevrolet Silverado pickup, which posted 492,551 in sales. The F-Series figure is also 268,840 more than the Toyota Camry.
