Production for a McCormick Farmall Cub Tractor began in 1947. The tractor was very popular, and considered a favorite among farmers with smaller acreage. During its production run, there were over 200,000 units made and sold.
When the Farmall Cub tractor was initially produced, there were seven attachments readily available for it. The attachments were a plow, disc, backblade, sickle-bar mower, belly-mower and one-arm front loader. The initial price for the Cub tractor was $545 in 1947. Although its production ended in 1967, aftermarket part manufacturers continued to make parts for it. They are still used as small gardening tractors as of 2015.
