Some popular vintage motorcycle models include the Honda CB 750, the Yamaha XS 650, the Kawasaki KZ 900, the Bultaco Sherpa T and the Honda Elsinore MT 250. All these models were manufactured prior to 1980.
The Honda CB 750 is extremely popular among enthusiasts of older motorcycles and dates back to 1969. The bike is a sport model and is named for its four-cylinder, 750-cubic-centimeter engine capable of achieving a top speed of 125 miles per hour. Aftermarket parts remain widely available as the bike is so enduringly popular.
The Yamaha XS 650 is a sports bike with a two-cylinder engine, but is still considered powerful with a top speed of 105 miles per hour. It was originally introduced in 1968, but like the Honda CB 750, it remains popular with modern riders, and parts continue to be widely available.
The Kawasaki KZ 900 was first released in 1970 and was quickly nicknamed "The King of Motorcycles." It was a direct response by Kawasaki to the CB 750 and has an even more powerful engine with a top speed of 150 miles per hour. As with the previous two bike models, popularity remains high among modern riders, and parts are still readily available.
