The search categories on the main page include the category of aircraft, special use and manufacturer. Examples of categories of aircraft include single engine piston, jet and turboprop. Special use options include amphibious/float, aerobatic and light sport. The section also includes a link to search for aircraft dealers and brokers.

The Advanced Search screen allows you to search for planes for sale, swap or trade, fractional ownership, leasing opportunities and wanted ads. Choose any combination of search fields on the Advanced Search screen to narrow the search results. Entering several options returns fewer results, but the results are a better fit for your aircraft needs.

The search results page lists all aircraft matching the entered criteria. It features the name of the plane, a photo, short description and contact information for the seller. A sorting function allows you to reorder the results based on factors such as price, model and the date of the listing. The top of the list includes a link to print the plane search results.
