If the vehicle is equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go, press the start button to drive the vehicle. If the vehicle is not equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go, insert the key into the ignition, and turn it to the on/run position. To turn off the vehicle without driving it once the remote start system is activated, press the remote start button on the transmitter once.
Before using the remote start system on a Jeep Cherokee, the doors, hood and liftgate must be closed. In addition, the hazard lights must be off, the shift lever must be in park, the key must be removed from the ignition, and the battery must be adequately charged.
