The three cars that are generally reported most by owners who received tickets between 2011 and 2014 are the Subaru Impreza WRX, the Pontiac GTO and the Scion FR-S. The most common traits associated with highly ticketed cars are foreign manufacture with a sporty design but an inexpensive price tag.
The WRX combines racing stock features with a fairly low price, so it is not surprising that over one-third of owners reported getting tickets. Although Pontiac no longer manufactures the GTO, it is still a target, with almost one-third of drivers reporting tickets. The FR-S holds a similar number of ticketed owners and has many of the same features of the WRX that make it likely to be ticketed.
