As of 2015, Wagner Brake products are available from a number of different retailers, including Amazon.com, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts. The Wagner line of brake products includes a wide variety of items, including brake drums and rotors, brake pads and shoes, linings, hardware and hydraulics.
One of Wagner's most popular lines of brake products is its ThermoQuiet brake pads, which are available in either ceramic or semi-metallic versions. These brake pads have an advanced one piece design, which integrates the friction material, backing plate and insulator into one component. This design spreads the heat, sound and vibration out over a larger surface area to provide quieter braking performance. The ThermoQuiet brake pads were originally released during the late 1990's and were the first one-piece brake pad in the world to feature an integrally molded insulator. Following up on the success of this product, the company then introduced its 100 percent low copper ThermoQuiet CeramicNXT brake pads in 2013.
Founded in 1891, Wagner is owned and operated by Federal-Mogul Corporation. In addition to brake products, Wagner also produces a line of lighting products under the brand Wagner lighting. The majority of Wagner ThermoQuiet brake products are manufactured at the company's facility in Smithville, Tennessee.
