The Quattroporte name applies to four models currently manufactured by Maserati: the Quattroporte S, Q4, GTS and Diesel. The Quattroporte is a four-door luxury sedan with notable features such as turbocharged V6 or V8 engines, automatic 8-speed gearboxes, and tops speeds of up to 191 mph.
The technical specifications of the Quattroporte S, as listed on Maserati.com, include performance, dimension and engine details. The S model has a fuel tank capacity of 21.1 gallons, a top speed of 177 mph and a turning circle of 38.71 feet. Its 3-liter Twin Turbo V6 engine has many of the same components as the GTS model, generating 410 horsepower at 5,500 rpm. Exterior specifications include LED running lights, twin steel tailpipes and the classic oval grille. Optional features of the S model include a Harman Kardon sound system and heated seats.
The Quattroporte S Q4 model shares many of the same specifications as the standard S model. Improvements in the Q4 from the S model are the all-wheel drive function, lower vehicle weight and slight increase in acceleration speed.
The Quattroporte GTS has a faster acceleration rate, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The GTS has a high-performance V8 engine capable of producing 530 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and attaining a top speed of 190.76 mph. It also has a rear spoiler, brushed steel trapezoidal tailpipes and LED running lights to add to the sporty look and feel of the car.
The Quattroporte is also available in a diesel configuration, which has lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions than other Quattroporte vehicles but shares many of the standard S model specifications.
