The Honda CRV is a sports utility vehicle with a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine. While the engine specifications are the same for every VRX model, other specifications depend on the individual model. The vehicle is available in five different models, with LX being the entry-level and the Touring being the most advanced model.
The CRV engine is 87 millimeters in bore and 99.1 millimeters in stroke, and compresses air at a ratio of 11.1 to 1. Producing 185 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 181 pounds-feet of torque at 3,900 rpm, the engine allows all five models to get up to 33 miles per gallon in highway conditions and 26 mpg in city traffic, making the combined mileage 29 mpg. With a fuel tank that can hold 15.3 gallons, the CRV can cover 500 miles on a full tank. The SUV is capable of towing trailers up to 1,500 pounds.
Whereas the LX features 16-inch styled steel wheels with all-season 215/70 R16 100S tires, the Touring has 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/60 R18 99H tires. The other three models have 17-inch wheels and 225/65 R17 102T wheels. All models have power-assisted brakes. With a wheelbase of 103.1 inches, the CRV is 179.4 inches long, 64.7 inches tall and 71.6 inches wide. Unladen, the SUV has 6.3 inches of ground clearance.
