The Cat 930K wheel loader features a 156-horsepower C6.6 Acert diesel engine, hydrostatic transmission and Performance Series bucket options with up to 6.5 cubic yards of capacity. This wheel loader is built on a full box-section frame with a rigidly mounted front axle, oscillating rear axle and wet disc brakes.

The C6.6 Acert is an inline-six, four-stroke diesel engine with direct fuel injection and turbocharged aspiration. This fuel-efficient engine meets U.S. Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB emission regulations. The C6.6 Acert engine is also available in the Cat 924K wheel loader and the 938K. The Cat 924K rates at 142 horsepower, while the 938K rates at 170 horsepower.

The larger Cat 950M is equipped with a 230-horsepower C7.1 Acert engine and has a bucket capacity of up to 12 cubic yards. The C7.1 Acert engine is coupled to a five-speed power-shift transmission with front differential locks.

The Cat 966M and 972M wheel loaders have an operating weight of over 25 tons, feature Cat's C9.3 Acert diesel engine, and are equipped with an integrated ride control system for improved control and ride quality. The C9.3 engine delivers up to 311 horsepower.

The 36-ton 982M handles bucket loads of up to 15.75 cubic yards. Its C13 diesel engine produces 392 horsepower and 1,518 pounds of torque per foot. A heavy-duty 17-inch planetary transmission uses a split-flow oil system and a standard lock-up clutch torque converter for increased speed on grade.
