The Mitsubishi Eclipse has been redesigned to make the car more aerodynamic and also look more sleek and modern. The car features a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine or 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine, along with leather interior, touch-screen navigation system, automatic climate control, a sports steering wheel and LED lights.
The two engine options for the Eclipse include the 2.4-liter engine that is four cylinders and produces 162 horsepower, and the 3.8-liter engine that is six cylinders and produces 265 horsepower. With the bigger engine option the Eclipse has a 0 to 60 miles per hour acceleration time of less than six seconds. Two transmissions are also offered, with the option of a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission.
The new Eclipse also features two front and two rear air intakes, with larger intakes on the front and smaller triangle-shaped intakes on the back, located just above the exhaust pipes. The car also has newly designed LED headlights that have been swept back toward the edge of the car, as well as new aluminum alloy wheels with five aluminum bars. The front sports grille has also been redesigned, and the bumpers have been recessed for a sleeker, sportier and more aerodynamic car.
