The arrangement of cylinder banks in a W configuration gives the engine its compact design. The tires for Veyron feature pressure sensors and are developed to withstand speeds of up to 400 kmph. The vehicle’s aerodynamic braking system features carbon-ceramic brake discs that can withstand surface temperatures of up to 1,000 degrees.
