Determine the market value of a car on Car.com by clicking Tools on the home page and then clicking Get Used Car Values at the bottom of the next page. On the next page, select the type of sale, the year, the make and model of the car, and then click Next. Enter the mileage, ZIP code, select options and the general condition of the car on the next page. Clicking Next displays the approximate value of the car. Values are available for trade-in and private party sales.

Find the market value of a car on KBB.com by clicking Trade-In & Private Party under the Car Values heading on the home page. Select the year, make, model and mileage, and then click Next. On the next page, enter a ZIP code, select the body trim and options, and then click See Blue Book Value beside the condition of the car. Values are determined for excellent, very good, good and fair conditions.
