Measuring 66 inches long, 49 inches wide and 44 inches high, the Gator CX four-by-two is John Deere's smallest utility vehicle as of November 2015. It contains a four-stroke, 8.5-horsepower engine with a continuously variable transmission and can travel at 15 miles per hour.

The Gator CX four-by-two has rear-wheel drive, tows up to 600 pounds and carries up to 800 pounds including passengers. This utility vehicle has independent front suspension, spring-over-shock rear suspension and a central disk brake in its rear trans-axle. It accepts either knobbly or turf tires, depending on its application. John Deere offers many accessories for the Gator CX, including a sprayer, windshield, roof, front bumper and horn.
