Driver’s test appointments can be made either over the phone or online, depending on the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles. Contact the state or local DMV to make an appointment.
Some states allow people to schedule appointments online. For example, Montana’s DMV website allows citizens to schedule, view or cancel appointments. Alabama allows individuals to schedule road skills tests up to two weeks in advance. Texas offers online scheduling at some of the state’s offices.
Some states do not have online scheduling available. To schedule a driver’s test in Michigan, customers must call the local Secretary of State office. Customers must contact the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to set up appointments for road and skills tests.
