Who Makes Runway Enduro Tires?

Runway Enduro tires are manufactured by GITI Tire, one the largest tire manufacturing companies in Asia and the 10th largest in the world. GITI Tire is based in Singapore, and their tires are distributed to more than 100 different countries.

The company has two sales, marketing and distribution offices in North America. In addition, they also have regional offices in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Brazil. In total, the company employs more than 32,000 people around the world at their various manufacturing, sales and distribution centers.

The tires are manufactured at eight plants located in China and Indonesia, all of which have received international certifications for environmental management and automotive quality management. In total, the eight factories produce a combined total of approximately 289,000 tires per day. In addition to the Runway brand, GITI Tires also manufactures numerous other brands, including GT Radial, Dextero, Primewell and Giti.

In June 2014, GITI announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Chester County, South Carolina — a state-of-the-art 1.8-million-square-foot factory costing more than $560 million to build, and the first facility located outside of Asia. Giti cited the area's strong workforce and proximity to the deep-water port in Charleston as reasons for selecting Chester County.
