Online reviews of the Maserati Ghibli are mixed, with Car and Driver giving it an overall rating of three stars out of five and The Car Connection giving it an overall rating of four points out of five. Edmunds gives the Maserati Ghibli an overall rating of four out of five stars.
Car and Driver calls the front seats "awful," noting that they are very hard which causes discomfort for the driver and passenger. This online magazine also criticizes the use of cheap Chrysler-made parts and says the Maserati Ghibli's ride is rocky because its suspension is too rigid. This publication is unimpressed with interior features such as the navigation system, which is too slow when rendering maps. However, it gives the Ghibli high marks for its power and large gas tank.
The Car Connection is more appreciative of the Ghibli, giving it four out of five points for performance, comfort, features, fuel economy and reliability, and five points for safety and for interior and exterior styling. This site calls the exterior shapely and tailored and the interior luxurious and modern, although it dislikes the back-seat space. It approves of the car's power, but dislikes some aspects of its performance, saying that too much turn at the wheel is required to navigate curvy roads.
