A copy of the original invoice must be included. Customers must print the invoice number and return material authorization number prominently on the outside of the shipping carton. As of 2015, returns are subject to a restocking fee of 20 percent or $25 per return, whichever is greater. Credit is issued after inspection by National Parts Depot.

For core returns, National Parts Depot does not accept merchandise that can't be reassembled; merchandise with broken or missing parts, cracked cases or deeply grooved surfaces; movable items that are frozen, locked or rusted; cases with torch cuts; or merchandise that has been welded or bent. All shafts, splines, keyways and threads must be in good condition, and disassembled cores are not accepted. The returned core must be the same as the unit purchased, and should be returned in the same box as purchased. Manuals or printers are not returnable for any reason.
