Since pop-up campers are considered to be a recreational vehicle, or RV, look for a Coleman pop-up camper at a local RV dealer that sells used models. Popular online retailers, such as Camping World and RV Trader, regularly have listings for used Coleman pop-up campers from across the United States.
As of 2015, Coleman pop-up, or folding, campers are no longer being manufactured. The last company to produce them, FTCA (formerly Fleetwood Folding Trailers), ceased operations in 2011, but due to their popularity over the years, they are still available on the secondary market.
The RV community is very active online, and used vehicles are readily available. Besides visiting RV dealers, check the classified listings in RV magazines online, such as Trailer Life, RV Life and MotorHome, or read active forums about Coleman pop up campers. Camping World and RV Trader have listings from private sellers but also recreational vehicle dealers. If a local dealer has similar items, try calling them to check on the availability of Coleman campers.
Craiglist and eBay are two popular sources for buying used vehicles, and they may have listings for similar items. If you are interested in purchasing a new pop-up camper, Livin Lite, Starcraft and Forest River are producing new vehicles.
