Take the knowledge portion of the Alberta driving test in Punjabi by selecting the language on the computer at the time of the test. This computer-administered written test is also available in English and eight other languages.
The additional languages are Arabic, traditional Chinese, Farsi, French and Hindi, as well as Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese. The test has 30 multiple choice questions, and the test taker must score at least 25 correct answers in order to pass.
Alberta, like the rest of Canada, has a graduated licensing system in which drivers start with a class 7 license or learner's permit that they obtain after passing the written knowledge test. After a year on the learner's permit without suspension, the driver may obtain a class 5 probationary license that he must keep for at least two years without suspension in order to qualify for the full-license class 5 or non-probationary driver's license. In addition, each class has minimum age requirements.
