The year model of the Dodge makes no difference in the process used to remove the headlight lens. Items needed to remove the lens are a 10mm wrench, a 10mm socket/ratchet with extension, towels, a clip tool and a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the gasket and screws
Lift the hood on the vehicle. Cover the clip tool with a towel to protect the paint on the vehicle. Use the clip tool to remove the gasket. The gasket is found near the headlight assembly. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the light in place.
Remove the headlight
Take out the light, and disconnect the wiring harness. Remove the three 10mm retaining bolts with the 10mm socket/ratchet with extension. The first two bolts are found near the inner headlight assembly, and the third bolt is found on the outer edge of the assembly. Disengage the retaining pin found near the upper rear of the assembly, and remove the headlight assembly.
Reconnect the headlight lens and headlight
Connect the wiring harness to the new light. Engage the retaining clip. Use the 10mm wrench to tighten the three 10mm bolts and mount the headlight. Be sure that the tab snaps into place. Reattach the rubber gasket.
