The four most popular motorcycle shows in the United States are Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia and Myrtle Beach. Each boasts close to 500,000 or more riders in attendance.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, which began in 1938, sees up to 650,000 in attendance. Daytona Bike Week, which began in 1937, is popular for its location, which is in close proximity to other attractions like the Kennedy Space Center and various water parks. Laconia Motorcylce Week in New Hampshire, which began in 1924, is known to be the third largest of the four shows. Lastly, Myrtle Beach Bike Week is popular for its location on the coast and the agreeable weather in May when the show is hosted.
