Some popular motorcycle models for 2015 are the Yamaha FZ-09, the KTM 390 Duke, the Ducati Scrambler and the Indian Chief Classic. Other popular motorcycles, according to Cycle World, include the Kawasaki Ninja H2R and the Husqvarna FE 501 S.
The Yamaha FZ-09, considered a good deal at $8,000, features a three-cylinder powerplant engine that pushes 108 horsepower and 62 pound-feet. The KTM 390 Duke is a lightweight street bike with an engine of less than 500 cubic centimeters; it sports ample tractable torque and a 40-horsepower peak engine.
Considered one of the best cruisers on the market as of 2015, the Indian Chief Classic features classic lines and plenty of chrome. With an aluminum chassis and an air-cooled Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin engine, it also sports a simple instrument panel and has a smooth riding experience. Built in Iowa, the Chief Classic has beautiful valanced fenders, as well.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2R, a superbike, is racing-inspired but built for the street. With an engine pushing 326 horsepower, the Ninja H2R's shape resembles a bat and comes in a black finish. A dual-sport bike, the Husqvarna FE 501 S features a 4CS WP fork and linked shocks in its suspension system. The FE 501 S also has a powerful engine and is trail-compliant.
