The seven most popular Chevrolet vehicles include the Camaro, Traverse, Stingray, Colorado, Impala, Tahoe, Silverado 1500 and Corvette Stingray, according to Edmunds. They stand out for several reasons, including innovative designs and integrated technology.
The Chevrolet Stingray and the Traverse lead their classes, according to Edmunds. These vehicles won the awards from Edmunds for "Top Rated Vehicles." The other Chevrolet models placed high in their respective classes. The Chevy Traverse belongs to the class of large crossover SUVs, while the Stingray is in the category of midrange sports cars.
Following close behind the success of the Stingray and Traverse are the Camaro, Colorado and Impala. The Camaro is a sports car, like the Stingray. It was near the top of the list for the 2014 award from Edmunds for "Most Popular Entry Sports Car." Similarly, the Colorado was a top three finalist for that same award in its class of compact trucks. In the category of large cars, the Impala placed among the top three too.
In addition to receiving top awards for overall design and performance, these Chevrolet vehicles receive praise for safety. Chevrolet has more cars that receive a five-star NHTSA safety rating than any other manufacturer, according to Edmunds.
