The extra power comes at a price, dropping gas mileage down to 22 miles per gallon in the city and 30 on the highway. The 2010 Pontiac Vibe is a cross between a small sports utility vehicle and a hatchback car. It offers an energy rating of 132 horsepower and a 26 city to 32 highway gas mileage rating. The 2009 Pontiac G5 is a two-door coupe that offers high power and great gas mileage, featuring an energy rating of 155 horsepower and a gas mileage of 25 miles per gallon in the city and 37 on the highway.
