Pick-n-Pull is a chain of self-service auto parts stores with multiple locations throughout the country and in Canada. By self-service, it means customers bring their own tools to one of the retail locations and then pull the parts they need from a yard of used vehicles that have been carefully arranged by make and model; by doing this labor themselves, customers are able to save money. The stores also sell a wide inventory of parts if customers do not want to pull them themselves.
The company claims it is one of the largest recyclers of end of life vehicles in the industry. It recycles more than 350,000 cars and trucks, and it services nearly 5.5 million customers every year.
Pick-n-Pull gets its vast selection of vehicles from tow companies, auto auctions, private sellers and charities, among other sources. It keeps a variety on hand and constantly refreshes the inventory as supplies run low to ensure all of its customers are satisfied. When a new batch of vehicles arrive, they are inspected carefully and hazardous materials and vehicle fluids are removed before the vehicles are put out on the sales floor. The company has a 30-day free exchange program.
