The Robinson R22 helicopter has an aluminum and fiberglass forward fuselage, aluminum stabilizers, a Plexiglas canopy and welded chromoly steel tubing. The aircraft features side-by-side pilot and passenger seats, removable doors for photographic flights and a 240-mile range.
The Cabri G2 offers side-by-side pilot and passenger seating, a Fenestron-styled tail rotor and a fully articulated three-blade main rotor. A 180-horsepower Lycoming O-360 piston engine powers the helicopter, which is equipped with skid landing gear and has a range of 380 nautical miles.
The CH-7 Kompress offers tandem seating, rather than side-by-side seats. The helicopter's two-blade main rotor is made of composites, and its two-blade tail rotor is aluminum. Other Kompress features include a fiberglass cabin, a canopy that opens forward, and a range of 298 miles or 259 nautical miles.
