Motorhomes built using the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cargo van as a basis include the Winnebago Era, Roadtrek Agile SS and the Avion Azur. These motor homes are considered Class B motorhomes due to the use of a standard cargo van as their base chassis.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a full-size cargo van that is among the few vehicles in its class to feature available all-wheel drive. The Sportsmobile company has taken advantage of this feature to offer a Class B motorhome with four-wheel drive in its product line-up. Most previous Sportsmobile motorhomes in this class used a Ford E-series van converted to four-wheel drive rather than a factory-installed system as in the Sprinter.
