Jeep Wrangler hard tops are constructed from fiberglass, which provides temperature and weather resistance, and are painted either black or to match the vehicle. Carpet lines the interior to provide temperature insulation and noise resistance. Windows are manufactured from Department of Transportation-approved safety glass.
Hard tops provide protection from water leaks due to rain and melting snow, drafts, and falling debris. They offer more optional features than soft tops. Available choices include a full-roof or rear-roof luggage rack, dome light, tinted windows and third brake light. Hard tops ensure greater security for the vehicle's contents. A knife cannot breach a hard top, while a soft top can be cut to gain entry.
