The Marine Trader Trawler is a recreational power boat that New Jersey-based boat dealer Marine Trading International imported and sold in the United States. It is also known as the Marine Trader 50 and sometimes called the Marine Trader Motor Yacht, Widebody or Long Range Cruiser.
The Marine Trader Trawler was made by Taiwanese boat yard Lien Hwa from 1979 to 1994, and the standard model featured a full walk around the side decks. In 1985, Marine Trading International introduced the Widebody model that had a full and extended salon with a day head. However, both models had the same hull and three-stateroom floor plan for the lower level. Stabilizers and bow thrusters were optional. The Marine Trader Trawler continues to be popular as of 2015, with for sale listings in BoatTrader.com and boat price listings in the NADA Guide.
